Cobbler Whiskey


Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1tbsp Butter

  • 10g (~2tbsp) Milk powder

  • 40g (~1/3c) Oatmeal

  • Pinch salt

  • 6oz Rye whiskey

Add first 4 ingredients to pan on stovetop on medium heat. Stir frequently until dark brown. Allow to cool. Add to bag along with whiskey and vacuum seal. Place in water bath at 140°F for 90 minutes. Place bag in ice bag to bring to room temperature. Strain through fine mesh filter, then strain through coffee filter— process may need to be repeated several times. Bottle and replace in fridge. Infusion will naturally separate so for greater clarification, pass through filter again after 24-48 hours.
