One With Tea
Hey all! I’m back from vacation and have some new content for you. Today we’re going to keep it fairly simple with a martini-style drink using a delicious flavored vodka kindly sent by @chakravodkas. With this build, I wanted to highlight the jasmine by tying in some tea-leaning flavors with the Italicus (bergamot-forward liqueur) and gin— I used @jaisalmergin, which has green tea among its aromatic botanicals.
I really liked how this one turned out. It read as a martini with just a bit of sweetness. The floral tea flavors were pronounced but balanced by the coconut and other botanicals. It is definitely a nice way to enjoy a great flavored vodka!
Recipe
1.25oz coconut, lychee, jasmine vodka
0.5oz modern-style gin
0.5oz dry vermouth
0.5oz @italicusrdb
1 dash black lemon bitters
Stir, strain into Nick & Nora, express and include lemon twist. Cheers!!
